Do it yourself Solder Fume Extractor with Motion Sensor

This article describes my progress in building a home-made do-it-yourself solder fume extractor with a two-stage filter and motion activation.

Features

• Two filter stages
1. Grease filter
2. Activated carbon filter
• 3 Fans
• Possibility to attach an exhaust hose at the back
• The fans are controlled by motion in front of the device

Motion Detector
